How to run the MAG420/MAG422/MAG424 STBs on the 5.3, 5.4, 5.4.1, 5.5 portal versions?

When you try to log in to the Ministra TV platform portal version 5.3, 5.4, 5.4.1 or 5.5 from the MAG420/MAG422/MAG424 STBs, you may encounter an error Firmware of your STB is outdated. Please update it.

To fix this error, follow these steps:

1. Apply the patch and make changes according to your version:

  Ministra 5.3.0, Ubuntu 14.04

Put the patch in the directory /var/www/stalker_portal/ and run the command:

sudo patch -p1 < support_5_3_0.patch

Download and unzip the archive with the files.

Copy the contents of folder 530_14 to the stalker_portal folder:

cp -r 530_14/* stalker_portal/
  Ministra 5.4.0, Ubuntu 16.04

Put the patch in the directory /var/www/stalker_portal/ and run the command:

sudo patch -p1 < support_5_4_0.patch

Download and unzip the archive with the files.

Copy the contents of folder 540_16 to the stalker_portal folder:

cp -r 540_16/* stalker_portal/
  Ministra 5.4.0, Ubuntu 14.04

Put the patch in the directory  /var/www/stalker_portal/ and run the command:

sudo patch -p1 < support_5_4_0.patch

Download and unzip the archive with the files.

Copy the contents of folder 540_14 to the stalker_portal folder:

cp -r 540_14/* stalker_portal/
  Ministra 5.4.1, Ubuntu 16.04

Put the patch in the directory /var/www/stalker_portal/ and run the command:

sudo patch -p1 < support_5_4_1.patch

Download and unzip the archive with the files.

Copy the contents of folder 541_16 to the stalker_portal folder:

cp -r 541_16/* stalker_portal/
  Ministra 5.4.1, Ubuntu 14.04

Put the patch in the directory /var/www/stalker_portal/ and run the command:

sudo patch -p1 < support_5_4_1.patch

Download and unzip the archive with the files.

Copy the contents of folder 541_14 to the stalker_portal folder:

cp -r 541_14/* stalker_portal/
  Ministra 5.5.0, Ubuntu 16.04

Put the patch in the directory /var/www/stalker_portal/ and run the command:

sudo patch -p1 < support_5_5_0.patch

Download and unzip the archive with the files.

Copy the contents of folder 550_16 to the stalker_portal folder:

cp -r 550_16/* stalker_portal/

2. Reset Smart Launcher apps.

Note! After deleting the contents of the themes directory, the background and logo added to the portal will be removed, so it is recommended to back them up first.

3. If there is a directory stalker_portal/misc/themes , remove its contents.

4. Reboot your STB and log in again.
