There are 2 video playback layers: VIDEO layer (for video)/OSD layer (for UI or video). OSD layer can't handle deinterlacing process. That's why interlaced video looks better when it’s force play on video layer instead of OSD layer.

To make an interlaced video look better, switch on OSD mode.

Please note that in browser windows video becomes black if OSD layer covers the VIDEO layer. Therefore, it is highly recommended to switch on OSD mode only when playing the interlaced streams.

To switch on OSD mode, follow these steps:

1. Select Settings.

4. Select On.

Note. By default, OSD mode is switched off.
