How to control HDMI-connected devices with one remote?
MAG425A supports HDMI CEC feature. HDMI-CEC allows you to control HDMI-connected devices with one remote. For example, you can use your TV remote to control MAG425A that is connected to your TV.
Note. HDMI CEC must be supported by your TV. Turn on HDMI CEC on your TV before using it.
HDMI-CEC provides the following capabilities:
- Remote Control Pass Through - Allows remote control commands to be passed through to other connected devices. For example, you can use your TV remote to control MAG425A.
- Playback Control - Allows you to control playback (Play, Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward), via TV remote, on MAG425A.
- Device Menu Control - Allows your TV remote to navigate the menu settings on MAG425A.
- Standby - Allows you to put several devices (for example, STB and TV) in standby mode using one remote control.
