The internal storage of the set-top box is a built-in non-volatile memory flash memory available for writing, storing, and reading user data.

  User data includes...

User data includes saved/loaded files, installed applications, and their data, in particular:

  • Set-Top Box Settings data including Google accounts registered on the STB and connected Bluetooth remote control data;
  • Home screen Settings;
  • YouTube app data;
  • Magic Browser app data - Bookmarks; Browsing history; Registration data from various web-services like mail accounts, online services, etc.; Cookies from websites; Autofill entry; Downloaded files and other data.
  • Magic Files app data - access configuration to network resources via SMB, NFS, UPnP protocols;
  • Magic Player and Magic Audio app data - playlist data;
  • Ministra Player app data - authorization data for the media portal.

You can free up a required amount of the internal storage of your device by removing previously saved files, application data, or by completely uninstalling applications.

  1. Use a file manager application such as Magic Files to remove files.

  2. Complete removal of applications can be done from the Settings, Apps section - see HOW TO UNINSTALL AN APP?
    Note. System applications removal is not permitted.

  3. To remove application data you can use the following ways:

    1. From the Settings, Apps section - see HOW TO CLEAR DATA?

    2. From the Applications window located on the Home screen.

The internal storage is completely cleared when the device is reset to factory settings.

You can observe the available and occupied amount of internal memory in Settings.
