How to get access to network storages?
MAGic Files allows getting access to Samba, NFS and UPnP storages.
Samba and NFS are file access protocols. Samba is a free implementation of the SMB/CIFS protocol, it has a client-server architecture, for Samba it is necessary to have a master computer on the network. In turn, NFS works decentralized.
UPnP is a multimedia protocol that allows you to get access to media resources located in open local-network access.
To get access to network storages, follow these steps:
1. Select MAGic Files in the Main Menu.
2. Select Network.
3. Select storage, you would like to access.
Note: if you want to change the default program to open a particular type of file, you need to delete the application's default settings.
