MAG500A Troubleshooting
After each step, сheck if keys pressing of the remote are perceived by the box.
1. Check if the batteries of the remote are not discharged. You may use the respective pointer in the Settings located next to a string of the respective remote.
2. Turn the MAG500A power off /on (unplug/plug the power supply).
3. Try to reconnect the remote:
- Press and hold Standby On/Off button on the top cover of the STB to run the pairing process.
- Put remote in pairing mode (press and hold OK and Home button until the LED flashes).
4. If the remote still won't connect, do the following:
- Remove all Remote entries (like Infomir OPAL) in Settings.
- Reset the Bluetooth remote to the factory settings and try to connect the remote again as described in step 3.
Please, сheck connection after each step.
1. Ensure that MAG500A is not connected via Ethernet.
2. Make sure you use the correct network password.
3. Restart MAG500A.
4. Ensure that your router works properly. Check if other devices can connect to the same Wi-Fi network.
5. If you don't see your Wi-Fi network listed, your network name (SSID) may be hidden. Try to add the network manually.
Please, try to connect after each step.
1. Make sure your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode.
2. Restart the Bluetooth device. Turn your Bluetooth device off, then turn it back on.
3. Restart MAG500A.
1. Make sure MAG500A is on. If you see the red light on the front panel, your device is on but can be stuck in sleep mode.
2. Check the power connection. Unplug the power cable, wait 10 seconds and plug the power cable back into the device

- Ensure you log in to Google Account on your MAG500A. How to add a new account see here.
- Check your internet connection.
- Restart MAG500A.
- Make sure Google Voice Search has the correct permissions.
Please, check the app after each step to see if it starts to work.
Check your Wi-Fi settings
- Make sure your device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android TV.
- Make you don't have trouble with your Wi-Fi network connection.
- Try to restart your Wi-Fi access point. Follow the instructions from your router’s manufacturer.
Connect with Bluetooth
- On your phone or tablet, turn on Bluetooth.
- Open the Android TV Remote Control App.
You'll see a list of Android TV devices. Tap the name of your Android TV.
On your TV screen, you’ll see a PIN. Enter this PIN on your device.
On your phone or tablet, you’ll see a Bluetooth notification, tap Pair.
Restart your Android TV
Unplug the power cord.
Wait 10 seconds.
Plug the power cord back in.
Try to fix an app that is not working
Restart your phone or tablet.
Update the app.
Follow the instructions on how to fix the installed app from your device manufacturer.
