How to install Smart Launcher app?
Adding an app via npm-server
1. Open tab Applications.
2. Choose Smart Launcher apps and press button Add new.
3. Fill in the field Package name and press Next.
Before installation please read the recommended package app list.
Package name - package for app installation is stored at npm-server. Enter its name. All the package names on npm-server are unique.
To view apps catalog developed by Infomir company press here. The distinctive feature of apps developed by Infomir, starting from version Ministra 5.1.0, is a "magcore-" prefix in the package name.
Please note that the recommended NPM version is up to 2.15.11. In this case, the order of packages in the list will be correct: TV, VIDEO CLUB, AUDIO CLUB etc.
If you use NPM version more than 2.15.11, then the order of packages in the list will be displayed by alphabet. The apps will be displayed in the same order in user interface (starting from AUDIO CLUB).
4. You will see the info about the app you install.
Package name - unique name of the package, stored at npm-server.
Application - application name.
Type - application type.
Category - app category.
Version - application version.
Author- information about app author.
Dependencies - application(s), that work together will the one you install.
About app - application description.
5. Press Save.
Installing application
List of available apps is updated every day at 10AM (EET). You can update the list of applications to force. See here for more details.
This list will show:
- Already working apps;
- New apps, available for installation (with Not installed status).
1. Focus on the app and press Install.
Please notice that Compatibility column may show the message about Compatibility conflict if it may not work with already installed apps. In this case, it is recommended to stay on the current compatible versions of the apps.
Compatibility is checked between the System packages and between each Application and System packages.
The ultimate app version is installed and switched on by default. Still you can install any earlier version.
Please notice that if you use the Tariff plans functionality you should add the installed app to the necessary tariff plan. For details see here.
