Note: The server part of the protocol was implemented and tested using GenieACS, an open-source software product that supports the TR-069 protocol. The configuration of remote STB management operations is described using GenieACS server as an example. Please note that the TR-069 client can work with any ACS server supporting the TR-069 standard.

1.  On the Devices tab, select the device you want to reboot.

2. Press Show.

3. Press Reboot.

4. In the window that appears, select Commit. To cancel, press Cancel.

Note: If the STB is not currently available, the command will be added to the Task queue. The image will be downloaded the next time device connect to the server.

5. If the command is successfully sent, you will see the message Task commited.

Note: to avoid cyclic reboot of the device after the reboot command is received, the rebooting occurs if the device can send a response to the server that the reboot command was successful.
