How to send file to the device?
Note: The server part of the protocol was implemented and tested using GenieACS, an open-source software product that supports the TR-069 protocol. The configuration of remote STB management operations is described using GenieACS server as an example. Please note that the TR-069 client can work with any ACS server supporting the TR-069 standard.
1. Press the Files tab. Press New file to upload the file to the server.
2. Fill in the fields:
- File type
- OUI
- Product class
- Version
3. Select the file and press Upload.
4. If the operation is successful, you will see the message File Saved.
5. On the Devices tab, select the device to which you want to send the file. Press Show.
6. Click Push file and select the file to send.
7. Press Commit.
8. If the command is successfully executed, you will see the message Tasks commited.
Note: If the STB is not currently available, the command will be added to the Task queue. The image will be downloaded the next time device connect to the server.
