How to learn MAG250 Remote control

This description applies to the Remote Control model SRC-4807.

Programming (or learning) STB remote control means assigning for its buttons certain functions of the TV remote control. For programming, only dedicated STB remote control buttons (usually blue colored) can be used.

To program RC buttons:

• Direct TV's RC to STB's RC;
• On STB's RC enter programming mode - press and hold TV SET key until the red LED becomes illuminated with bright light;
• Press and release one of the dedicated keys of STB's RC. This key is intended to be assigned the required function (red LED flashes);
• Press and release a required key on the TV's RC (red LED will flash faster few times and then light steadily once again);
• After programming all the buttons, in the manner specified above, press TV SET key again, to exit programming mode.
